Garmin is yet to confirm the release date of Garmin Forerunner 975. Garmin Forerunner 965 was released in March of 2023. Garmin released Fenix 8 and Forerunner 165 this year. Garmin forerunner 975’s release date has not been confirmed yet. However, Garmin Forerunner 975 is expected to be released in second quarter of 2025. Garmin is also expected to release Garmin Venu 4 or Venu 3 plus very soon.

Garmin Forerunner 975 may feature thinner bezel, as the 965 model compared to 955 model has larger screen size due to a thinner bezel. This is likely to be the case when 975 model is released. The Garmin may not increase the overall size of the watch but may make the screen larger by making the bezel even thinner compared to the 965 model. Garmin Forerunner 975 may feature sharper display with a higher screen resolution. The newer model may offer a longer batter life with wireless charging option. We are also expecting GPS accuracy to be improved in the Forerunner 975 model.
