Redmi watch 5 was released in November 2024 in China. Its global version is due to be released in January 2025. Redmi watch 5 runs on Xiaomi’s new HyperOS 2.0. The watch features 2.07” AMOLED display with 1500 nits brightness. The watch body is made up of light weight aluminum alloy, plastic underside and rotating crown on the side. The watch straps are made of durable rubber and are easily removable. It has a thinner bezel compared to Redmi watch 4 giving it a more premium look. It also has an e-Sim option which allows you to stay connected without your phone.
Redmi watch 5 is compatible with both Android and IOS. The watch offers health & fitness tracking with 150+ sport modes and built in GNSS for precise location tracking. It also has updated heart rate monitoring sensor which provides better accuracy. The watch is yet to be released globally and expected to be released worldwide in January 2025.
