Sekonda connect is stylish smart watch and it is comfortable to wear. Sekonda connect offers impressive features without a premium price tag, but is it really worth the price or are there any better smart watches at this price point? We have tested the Sekonda connect smart watch and compared it with other similar watches. Read this Sekonda connect smart watch review to find out weather this smart watch may be suitable for you, or if there are any other suitable watches! Sekonda connect smart watch offers basic health and fitness tracking such as heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, oxygen saturation monitoring, steps & calories tracking and activity tracking. The watch does not come with a built-in GPS, but it can track the distance and route via smart phones GPS. Some of the other smart watches which we have reviewed in the same price range such as Amazfit bip 5, CMF Pro 2 and Remdi Watch 5/lite do come with a built in GPS. The watch offers bright AMOLED display which is 1.1 inches and touch responsive. However, the watch has a thick bezel around the screen, the display does not cover the whole screen due to this. The thick bezel is not noticeable on dark background but can easily be noticed if the background is any other colour. The watch is rated IP67, it is water proof and can be used when showering but manufacturer does not recommend using it in a pool etc.
Buy this watch if you are looking for a smart watch which:
- looks stylish
- offers responsive user interface
Do not buy this watch if you are looking for a smart watch which:
- is packed with features
- is good for health & fitness tracking
- offers long battery life
Sekonda connect Watch – the design

Sekonda connect smart watch offers 1.1 inch AMOLED touch display, which I found to be responsive and smooth. The watch body is made of ion-plated alloy case. The watch straps are easy to adjust and are easily replaceable. Overall the watch looks good, fits well and feels comfortable to wear. The screen size is not too large and its suitable if you have small wrist size.
Sekonda connect Watch – the Features
Read below to find out what features Sekonda connect smart watch has to offer.
Sekonda CONNECT Connectivity
The process of connecting the smart watch with a smart phone was pretty simple and straightforward. Sekonda connect is compatible with IOS and Android and connects via Bluetooth. You will need to download HitFit Pro app on your phone to connect the smart watch to your smart phone, the app is free to download and use. The watch does not have wifi or Bluetooth. The watch relies of connection with a smart phone to fully function. The watch also does not have NFC, meaning you are unable to make card payment via the Sekonda connect smart watch. To be honest, I was not expecting this watch to have Wi-Fi or NFC, as most other smart watches in this price range do not have Wi-Fi or NFC payments option either.
Sekonda CONNECT User Interface
We found the user interface on the Sekonda connect watch to be smooth and responsive. When you swipe down on the screen, you can see the quick access menu, where you can see options such as; battery, do not disturb mode, settings, brightness etc. The raise to wake feature is quite responsive on the watch, when you turn your wrist to look at the watch the display automatically turns on without any issues or lag.
Sekonda CONNECT watch Bluetooth Calling review
The watch also offers Bluetooth calling and has option to store 10 contacts on the watch. We found the call quality when using the Bluetooth calling feature to be good.
Sekonda connect water resistance
The water resistance on the watch is IP67 rated, which is suitable to use in shower or outside in light rain. However, the manufacturer of the watch does not recommend using the watch in a swimming pool.
Sekonda connect review – Health & fitness tracking
The watch offers basic fitness monitoring such as steps tracking, heart rate monitoring, calories burnt, distance travelled, sleep monitoring etc. The heart rate tracking is comparable to more expensive smart watches. It can track up to 14 different activates from walking and running to yoga and tennis. Which is not a lot of activities as many other smart watches in the same price range are able to track over 100 different activities.
Sekonda connect smart watch – Battery life
The manufacturers claims the battery lasts up to 10 days. However, this depends on how you use the smart watch and what features you have enabled on the smart watch. For example if you have always on display turned on, it will drain the batter faster and it will not last for up to 10 days. If you regularly use the smartwatch for activity tracking, sleep monitoring, and similar features, the battery will drain faster. On an average the battery can last from 4-7 days.
Sekonda connect smart watch review- Summary
This watch is stylish, easy to use and responsive. However, the thick bezel is easily noticeable. Sekonda connect is not the best choice if you are looking for a budget stylish smart watch for health and activity tracking. There are other smart watches in the similar price range which offer better value for money.
I agree, Overall not a bad smart watch but would benefit from thinner bezel and built-in GPS
